Fulfilling Desires Through Durga Saptshati ( Shri Durga Saptshati ke Path se Kaamna Poorti)

Durga Saptshati is a text describing the victory of Goddess Durga over Demon Mahishasura. It finds its space in Markandeya Purana which is one of the puranas and was written in around 400-500CE. This scripture glorifies Goddess Durga, the shakti. Android users who are watching this post through my app (Astro Junction App) on their smartphones, should click on the title of the post above to see the complete post.)
Saptshati means 700. It has 700 verses which are categorized in 13 chapters. Each chapter, when recited, gives a different benefit. Readers can benefit by reciting this great text everyday and get rid of their problems. It gives even more benefit when recited during navratras. Please refer the table below which tells the benefit of reciting each chapter of Durga Saptshati.
It is originally written in sanskrit but if you can not recite it in sanskrit then the translated versions are also available in book shops and you can buy one of them.

    1. Nails and hair are the energy points in our body. On the specified days if the hair are washed or but there is more loss of energy resulting in lack of vitality in the body which may cause diseases.

    1. Procedure does not matter. There are n no. of procedures that various pundits will explain you. At the end of the day the only thing that matter is your faith and devotion in the goddess. That will bring you the success.

    1. Maa doesn't have any ego issues like humans. The only thing that is needed is complete faith and devotion in Maa.

  9. I have been reciting the Durga Saptashati everyday since 18 days, on some days I recite it twice. I follow a strict method of recting, such as not moving and staying seated in the same place without any distractions until all 13 chapters are completed. Sometimes during the day I feel the need to recite a chapter. I am saying it with a desire to marry a boy. Which chapter can I recite during the day to get this desire fulfilled?
