Shradh / Pitra Paksha 2020 Dates

This video gives dates for Pitra Paksha which is going to start from 2nd September and end on 17th September 2020. Rituals are performed during this period to pay homage to the deceased ancestors. Adhik Maas will follow the Pitri Paksha period from 18th September. The dates for the Shradhs are mentioned below: 

 

Purnima Shradh: 2nd September 2020 

 

Pratipada Shradh: 2nd September 2020 

 

Dwitiya Shradh: 3rd September 2020 

 

Tritiya Shradh: 5th September 2020 

 

Chaturthi Shradh: 6th September 2020 

 

Panchami Shradh: 7th September 2020 

 

Shashthi Shradh: 8th September 2020 

 

Saptami Shradh: 9th September 2020 

 

Ashtami Shradh: 10th September 2020 

 

Navami Shradh: 11th September 2020 

 

Dashmi Shradh: 12th September 2020 

 

Ekadashi Shradh: 13th September 2020 

 

Dwadashi Shradh: 14th September 2020 

 

Trayodashi Shradh: 15th September 2020 

 

Chaturdashi Shradh: 16th September 2020 

 

Sarv Pitru Amavasya Shradh: 17th September 2020 

 

This video explains the Janmashtami muhurta for the year 2020. Janmashtami is shown in calendars to be on 12th August 2020 but it is on 11th August 2020 for everyone except sanyasis and Vaishnavites.
